Essay on the holiday trip
People go to enjoy their holidays in different places. Some people go to the city centers. Other prefer to go for holidays to the countrysides. Different people have their choices to enjoy their holidays. People Want to go to holiday for fun and entertainment. They Want to pass time in traveling and getting fun. I also Went to a holiday trip during my Dashain vacation. I went to India and spent almost fifteen days with my father.
In the courses of my holiday trip, I got an opportunity to travel on the train. It was a good experience for me. We had reserved our tickets before we made our journey. First of all, We Went to Raxaul, India. Our first-holiday destination was Kolkatta. We wanted to spend five days there. My father had already gone there during the time of his college life. He had enjoyed the city. So, he preferred this place for us.
We reached Kolkatta in the morning time. We hired a taxi and got a room in a hotel in the centre of the city. After We took some rest, my father ‘asked me to be ready. We went to Victoria Memorial Park. It is the nice garden with an ancient building .There were many beautiful flowers in the garden. The most attractive thing was the building. It was ancient building made in the time of British rule. The building had many good artistic things housed in different rooms. It was a very majestic building:
Then we went to see the bridge. It was called Hawara Bridge. It Was' hanging bridge made in the time of British rule. It is atypical monument constructed in the world. It is wonderful bridge of the World. I took several photos. We also Went to shopping and we had a chance to travel in the underground train. It was good experience for me.
After we spent four days, we went to another city, Agra. I had heard of it many times. Agra was famous for the World famous building Taj Mahal. It was made in the sixteenth century by the Moslem king in the memory of his queen who died. The building was magnificent. It lied on the bank of Yamuna River. The surrounding of the building was full of beauty and natural scene. Many tourists arrive to see this attractive monument from around the world.
Our final trip was to Ayodhaya, the religious city. We went there in the early morning. It was full of temples and ancient statues. We visited many important places and temples. We also took bah in the holy river Sarayu. We stayed in the shrine. It was good experience. In the evening, We went to pray and heard Bhajans. There were many religious people. The city was holy and the people were very hospitable.
After fifteen days, we came back to Nepal. It was good time for us. I want to go to these places in my life time again if possible. The trip was full of experience, fun and knowledge.
